MagnoliaInk Magazine

This is such an exciting time for me because, I submitted one of my cards to Magnolia Ink Magazine, for the front cover contest.  I didn't win but they did put my publish my card in the magazine.  That to me was as good as being on the cover page.
Magnolia is where I found the Tilda and Edwin stamps that I have feel in love with and us alot.

My news is something that I want to share because it encourages me to keep on STAMPING..
The theme of the card was Chocolat Dreams..  A subject close to my heart.   :)
This bottom photo is the orignal entry.  I mailed the whole thing to Sweden.

Thank You

I want to thank all of the gals that have been encouraging me with this blog.  I haven't figured out how to answer you back when you send a comment but I do read them.
I am still learning and it might take awhile so be patient with me.   :)

I also want to share this product that I found.
The first picture is of a sneek peek of my Christmas cards.  I found the yarn design at our local scrapbook store last year.  I just found this yarn the other day at JoAnns in yarn department.  I thought it added a cute touch.  Hope you can use this idea... Thanks

Boys need cards too...

I always find it a challenge to make and send cards for my grandsons, which range from 4 to 22 years old.  Also for the sons,son-in-laws and our brothers. My cards today are for the guys in our lives.

Stamping

Stamping has been such a huge part of my life for at least 16 years.  Because We have such a big family I am always busy making birthday cards for them.  Our family has 15 grandchildren, 6 children and spouses and lots of other family and friends.  At Christmas I usually make on an average of 140 cards.  It always seems so overwhelming until the cards and finished and then I feel such joy.  One of my greatest encouragment is when I hear people say "I still have every card you have made and sent me. The other is the wonderful compliments I get back.
Through the years I have made our wedding invitations (100), Thank you, from wedding . And lots of special orders.
My blog is mainly to take you through some of my pictures of cards and talk about what I have learned from the stamping community of wonderful artists, which have inspired me.
